Sunderland had their chances to win the game but in the end it took a Forsell penalty to settle the match. Forssell slotted in after Clive Clarke marred his Black Cats debut with a reckless tackle on Damien Johnson. It’s too early to say whether or not Quinn is cut out for management but for me it just seems like a ridiculous decision to try and run a club as well as manage it. It’s an impossible situation, and the sooner the likeable Irish man realises this the better.
